Which factors support trust in the recommendation process of pension products? Trust and pension products

Abstract During the financial crisis of 2008/2009, institutions such as banks and insurance companies have lost trust their customers. In recommendation process pension products, plays an important role since cash flows from retirement products accrue decades ahead. Using results a survey, we find that still struggle to deliver customers when they recommend different categories products. Other recommending parties academic experts or close friends, however, are able establish high level trust. We therefore investigate factors alternative channels product features.
